The social purpose of Licence to Clean is to provide employment for individuals in our community at St. Leonards Place Peel who are on social assistance.
We acknowledge that through work, human beings find purpose to their lives and develop a sense of belonging and increased self-esteem. Through engaging in meaningful labour our employees are given the opportunity to build social, personal, physical, financial, and human assets.
The mission of our business is to help build the supports that our men need to one day become independent contributing members of our community, and attain a sustainable livelihood.

Services
Cleaning
Our cleaning services include, extreme cleaning, daily or weekly apartment and office cleaning, garbage removal, litter pickup, and more.
Our moving services include packing, transporting and unloading items.
Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance
Our landscaping and lawn maintenance services include bed edging, weeding, soil replenishment, planting, transplanting, plant removal, lawn mowing and weed whacking.

Gallery
Many of the jobs that we do are for disadvantaged groups of individuals. We often help families move who are struggling to sustain themselves. We often provide cleaning services for people who for various reasons cannot clean for themselves. Many of our other contracts are for office buildings, local churches, and individuals or families on social assistance. We look forward to our continued success and expansion by providing a quality service to our community

Licence to Clean Coordinator
Licence to Clean employs men that are members of our community who, often through no fault of their own, have found themselves struggling through periods of homelessness and joblessness. Our workers suffer from conditions, such as schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, chronic depression, developmental disabilities, behavioural and attitudinal issues, addiction problems, and homelessness. Through the support system provided to them at St. Leonard’s Place Peel our employees no matter what their challenges have reached a level of stability where working has become possible for them. Our business model is designed to provide these men with the assistance they need to continue working toward the realization of a future of their choice.

Our employees all gain from, frequent consultation, asset mapping, goal setting, pre-employment training, and accommodation strategies. We sit with each employee and discuss their barriers to employment to help us understand their challenges, determine their individual needs, and define their level of participation in the business.
